The 2010-2011 school year will be the 13^th overall for Coach Finley at Cheatham County Central High School.  Finley, a native of Yorkville, graduated from Gibson County High School in 1987.  He later attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville where he earned a degree in Biology.  Coach Finley has previously taught/coached at Yorkville Junior High, Dyer County High, and the now defunct Tennessee Preparatory School.  He arrived at Cheatham County in 1997 and served as an assistant on the football staff under past Cubs head coaches Tommy Tharp, Walt Randolph, & Jeremy Boyd.  In 2002 he was named the school’s head football coach.  During his first 8 seasons at the helm of the school’s football program he has compiled an overall win/loss record of 45-43 and guided the team to the TSSAA State Playoffs on 6 seperate occasions.   

 Coach Jackson is entering his 6^th year as a teacher/coach at Cheatham County Central High School.  He graduated from Cheatham County Central High School in 2000 and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he was a standout for the school’s football program.  He went on to earn a degree in Business Education.  He has served as an assistant on the coaching staff for the last 5 seasons. 

 Coach Hatley is entering his 2^nd year as a teacher/coach at Cheatham County Central High School.  He graduated from McEwen High School in Humphreys County in 1998 and later went on to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin where he earned a degree in History.  Coach Hatley has previously taught/coached at Creek Wood High in Charlotte and East Hickman High in Lyles.  The 2009 season was his 1^st on the coaching staff at CCCHS.   

 Coach Chandler is entering his 5^th season as a volunteer assistant on the football coaching staff at Cheatham County Central High School.  He is a graduate from CCCHS, class of 1990, where he starred at 3 separate sports.  He later went on to attend Lambuth University in Jackson.  Besides being a member of the football coaching staff Chandler also serves as the school’s head wrestling coach as well as an assistant on the baseball team’s coaching staff. 

Coach Boyd has been in the Cheatham County School System since 1997.  He graduated from Dickson County High School in 1989 and went on to attend Austin Peay State University in Clarksville where he earned a degree in Special Education.  Coach Boyd joined the CCCHS faculty as a teacher/coach in 1997 and after spending 3 years as an assistant on the football staff he was named the school’s head football coach in the summer of 2000.  Since stepping down from the position 2 years later Boyd has remained on the staff as an assistant to long time friend Cody Finley.  This upcoming year will be Boyd’s 12^th on the on the football coaching staff at CCCHS.  Coach Boyd also serves as the school’s head baseball coach and has previously served as the head wrestling coach.
